Dr. Shimizu's research focuses on crystal defects, surface photovoltaic characteristics in semiconductor. He was with the Semiconductor & Integrated Circuits Div. Hitachi Ltd., where he was mainly engaged in developing Si crystal technology in devices from 1973 to 1999. He joined the College of Engineering, Nihon University in 1999. Dr. Shimizu has published 48 journal publications, 5 books (co-author),14 technical reports, and 38 presentations including 6invited papers.

Electric Vehicles are up to 2 to 4 times more effecient that comperable ICE powered vehicles.
Electric Motors don't suffer from power loss and increased emissions over time like Gas and Diesel Engions.
