Electric Vehicles are up to 2 to 4 times more effecient that comperable ICE powered vehicles.
Electric Motors don't suffer from power loss and increased emissions over time like Gas and Diesel Engions.

- COLUMBUS - Ohio State University's Buckeye Bullet electric car today (October 15th, 2004) broke the record for the fastest speed by an electric vehicle, with a speed of 314.958 miles per hour at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
